St. Raphaela Center has three floors of retreat rooms. Accommodations include single, double, and triple occupancy rooms. Rooms are simple but comfortable and include beds, night stands, bureaus, rocking chairs, and writing table and chair. There are no telephones, televisions, radios, or alarm clocks in the rooms. Linens are provided. Toiletries are not; please bring your own shampoo, etc.

Meals are served following a schedule you will be given at the time you arrive. Snacks are available at any time in the dining room. Call ahead with any special dietary needs.

The chapel and grounds are available for your enjoyment and prayer time. You are invited to pray with the Sisters whenever they use the chapel. Daily Mass may be offered in the retreat center, or at a local parish. You are welcome to join us at Mass if you like.

Some of our non-paying guests include deer, foxes, red-tailed hawks, and countless squirrels and chipmunks. The best view can be had in the chapel, which is built on the round and is surrounded by windows. Summer nights are great for fireflies!

St. Joseph Hermitage, located on the grounds of St. Raphaela Center, provides a quiet, peaceful space that includes bedroom, bath, and enclosed porch. Also available are a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, providing the option of taking meals within the Hermitage. Daily stipend: $50. Contact Sr. Mary Carboy, ssj, for information.
